It’s difficult to choose some favorite aspects of this project because it has so many. From the painted brick fireplace to the kitchen shiplap backsplash, the balanced mix of stained and painted elements make this home feel bright while also being warm and welcoming. I loved the layered finishes we achieved in the kitchen design. The perimeter had painted cabinets with a plastered hood. We accented the island in a warm rich stain. We continued the mix of light and warm finishes throughout the rest of the home for a cohesive design.
